    Most of the time I think the narration is used as a cheap way to tell story and fill time. It seems a lot of programmes begin with a summary of what happened last time - which can take up to 15 minutes!.. maybe I'm being a grumpy bastard, but I think it's a sign that TV is cheapening even further and ultimately leads to uninteresting programming.

    In the case of last nights programme - a lot of the narration was basically repeating back what Philip Starke said. Was it that difficult to understand what he was saying?
