  Every six months to a year, I will pop off all the keys of mine, soak the keys in a 50/50 alcohol and water solution in a big bowl while I clean the actual keyboard with alcohol, Q-tips, and paper towels. Hardest part at first was remembering where shit went when putting the keys back on, but I've got it memorized now.

  The alcohol will not wear off the letters on the keys, if you're worried about that.
