I read somewhere that you can pull it apart and put it in the dishwasher on a medium heat, let it dry in a warm room overnight and it'll be fine.
However, that'd probably void the warranty even if it did work.
Tapping it upside down, gently, and also shaking it gently seems to get rid of any dust etc that has made it a little crappy. If you unplug the keyboard I don't see much harm in a very slightly damp cloth being used to wipe it.
