man, had loooong hair for many years then convinced over many pints to buzz it all off. never looked back.
we used to ritualy shaved our heads every two weeks for about 3 years after skating before the pub. Now, if I'm bored, off it comes.I now always have a friend do it though. i have a tendancy to get bored and not be thorough enough, end up going to work with patches.
if its your first time, jsut plug it in and take a big chunk out... no going back. however when you do, start longer, and then work down.
If you have lots of hair then scissor it off first, clippers can get caught up in long hair if not oiled properly.
