I'm still not crazy that it's rooted in organizing things using metadata (it's probably my long history of using a PC and winamp to play music). When itunes has to default to organizing files the old way (filenames) it falters quite badly. I have had several headache sessions trying to find imported music that had no metadata. It just seems to place the files wherever the hell it feels and in no particularly logical fashion at that. However I will admit I have come to admire and rely upon the library for organizing my music - when all the metadata is there iTunes works quite nicely.

I'm also still peeved that apple continues to deny support for certain lossless audio formats - namely flac. Instead i'm stuck importing using third-party software (fluke) to import flac and then re-encoding to apple lossless format so that itunes doesn't lurch like an old woman when trying to play lossless formats. And yeah, i've been around the argument that I could use VLC or toast or whatever to play lossless formats but really, i'd love not to have to use multiple apps to to play music through.
