The balls are blank from the very start
Brown has someone else who has access to 49 balls, each with a different number on it
As each number is called out the correctly numbered balls are positioned on a new rack
the left-hand side of what we are seeing on our screens is a pre-record of static balls played in sync as an overlay with the right-hand side
the second person simply replaces the rack of balls to fit the results, which we don't see as we are still watching the overlay
