    i think of it differently than some here.

    i would rather not have a physical cd. i actually dont listen to music if im not at my computer. in the past i go to the store (which i dont like. because of driving, parking, music snobs. you know who you are.. ) but i go, then rip, then toss cd's.

    this streamlines and saves me time and energy. and i think its cool that it doesnt involve resource consumption. its like the paperless office...
