    "between "UI" and "financial UI / medical UI""

    Good question.
    UI is UI but with specialization such as financial or medical / scientific, the UI person tends to either be interested or want to learn more about the subject matter.

    While most designers can design for any use, some complex process / workflow can be properly visualized if subject matter is understood.
