sorry about the scooter, monkeyshines. Here is another little gem from that era:
some friends and I used to drive around to hotels and vandalize them late at night. So we go to this hotel by the local airport and are walking down the hallways stealing smoke detectors and putting them inside of a backpack, we must have had 30 of them when we happened upon a HUGE fire extinguisher. I broke the glass took the extinguisher and ran outside with it. began spraying it in the air as my friends pulled the car around. As I was just emptying the extinguisher into the air, the security van came around, I threw the extinguisher o the ground and jumped in the car. The security guard apparently got the license plate of my friends car and later that night he had the police at his door with a ticket for 'retail theft' for stealing the fire extinguisher, even though I was the one that did it. So I went with him to his court date and got all of the charges put into my name, explaining to the judge that they had mistakenly given the fine to my friend when I was the culprit. I was assigned a court date, went to court about a month later and the witness (security guard) didnt show up. they assigned me another court date, second date, no witness. Assigned another date. Third date, no witness and all charges were dropped. I am like the teflon don.
