    As already set - check snap to grid is off, also - snap to point.

    Sometimes Illy, no matter what settings you have, spacks out, insisting it should snap to the document bounds. I know of no way around this, other than to to the work away from the document bound, then move back into position.

    If Freehand was in any way good, more people would be using it. The fact that they're not shows that, to most people, it was an inferior product. Also, I hesitate to point out that it is no longer on the market.

    So please, don't try and stir up some infantile -vs- debate.
