I've been coming here now for the better part of a decade, and i can still recall how i felt when i first stumbled upon this place. After a long time of seeing the 'big names' chatting back and forth on k10k, suddenly here was a place where i could say my 2cents worth, could banter back and forth with other designers, could offer encouragement to others, and get some in return.
but most of all i guess i remember the folks that turned into the 'regulars'
there were a lot of them, and of course, over such a long time you see some folks come and go, but you just assume that life got too busy, or that they've just moved on for other reasons....
I remember his drawings.
i remember how we all looked forward to seeing the next thing he'd post. how we all asked to have our pics and faces drawn.
I never new him personally, like Janne or Eric or many of the rest of you, but i do remember the joy he brought with his art, and that he was well liked here, among the jokers, nutjobs and other assorted wonderful crazies we've managed to assemble here....
My heart and condolences like all of yours go out to all his family and friends.
