Life isn't about getting it right first time, and saving years which would have been lost. What you're describing makes it sound like there's a script that we should all aim for - and the closer our lives match it, the happier we'll be... it's bullshit.
If the guy hasn't cheated on her, he really hasn't done anything wrong. If he's made the decision to marry, it's his choice.
No one knows how their marriage will turn out - it might be a complete fcking disaster, but I seriously think people should be allowed to make mistakes themselves and figure it out on their own terms.
