    Wordpress is good for what it was intended for, alot has been added to it, sometimes nicely, sometimes not.... it may be sideways from what you're looking for... some of the wordpress extensions seem like somebody has bolted wings on a car and is going to drive off a cliff and fly.... for a little while....

    The real CMS question is.... does the CMS fit your pageflow and info architecture or not? Do you want to redesign your pageflow and information architecture to fit the CMS? Did the client play golf with some guy from Microsoft and do you have to drink the kool-aid and use sharepoint no matter what?

    I've experimented a bit with concrete5 and I was impressed, other than that I tended to write my own CMS's or use whatever the client already had.... just try to make sure they never drink the sharepoint kook-aid...
