2a is worth considering, but the plug is too small, the 500 is too thin, no need to make GREEN green IMO. Why is the 500 in different type, because of the round zeroes? Maybethe plug idea can be put further, maybe there is an intersetion of the zeroes, or the plug is coming from another character... Play with the position of the plug in the zero. Maybe the second zero has a socket or something. But test it for reduction/legibiliity, most of your sketches won't survive it.
