Ask for what you can live with and back up. However, that Saturday stuff is worrisome... that should be worth some cash. Two years of experience should be between $40 to $50k but add 20% for Saturdays. Plus, I would immediately start looking for another job. Six days a week stinks. If a company requires more than 5 days from an employee, then they are not bidding the work correctly or are too cheap to hire enough people to work shifts or both. Either way, you can bet they will treat you like a production machine and not someone who is working to pay for an enjoyable life and the hopes of friends and family. There is no shame in an honest living but good luck with that kind of company. I would ask for flex time... work on Saturday when needed, sure you will help meet the deadline BUT Monday is the new Saturday when you put in extra. (this sounds like the kind of description my first boss would write)
