  Think its marketing mostly, if you have a HD capable telly then you must have a Blu-ray/ps3/appletv/media pc etc to already play HD media on it or then why would you own a HD tv. and HD content playing on the thing itself won't look any better than any other player with a similar sized screen... but it will take up about 10 times the space

  Radio and playing HD content on a TV? But no games/Pandora/email/instant messaging/maps.
  Sorry I'm missing what those lots of extra features must be.
