I once had this guy ´from Cacidi.com demonstrate to me how one of the plugins (altho a lot simpler than the program from Xerox) from his company could layout a wholepage ad from a real estate agent in just 9 seconds. I dont really wanna do real estate ads and dont wanna sound like a luddite either - but the invention of the typewriter resulted in a dark era of (good) typography that lasted almost 70-80 years. And I think the spreading of 'automated design' will make the world a lot more ugly and predictable. Believe the expression "web design templates" can cause a stirr in here as well
