What they don't tell you:
Upgrading from vista is a lot less painless than upgrading from XP.
In order to upgrade from XP and keep your files intact you must save them out to some specialized archiving format. This format is supposed to keep the integrity of your XP files whole... HOWEVER... I lost all personal information/email contact and settings from programs. The archiving program did nothing to archive any of this wholly important and vital information.All in all win7 seems to run a bit nicer than XP and vista, but I am still recovering from the blow of losing years of accumulated information. Thanks again Microsoft.
