Sorry I stepped away from the issue for a bit. Glad everyone has been chiming in. None of the above helped unfortunately. I still haven't solved the issue.
@dajaniel I know fonts will very from browser to browser and from system to system but this much is out of the norm. As for the sifr suggestion... doesn't this defeat the point of using a web safe font? I mean that's retarted in my opinion. Maybe if I was trying to use Impact or Futura etc, the sure.
