  The email thing is solved when you switch to IMAP (you are currently using POP3), I get them at the exact same time on my computer and my phone, sometimes I have the volume down on my computer and I know I got an email because my phone made a sound.

  I don't know what do you mean by speed dial exactly.
  I'm assuming is not touching your contact's name and the phone will make the call automatically cause obviously every phone has that (even my old dyna tac)
