There are different kinds of developers... somebody who perfectly slices up photoshop files into perfects css is great for front end, but doing an online dating site, you may need a backend person, and/or find a pre-existing codebase or open-source project to re-skin. If you do re-skin like this, your approval process should change, i.e .do NOT show photoshop screenshots first, then figure out how to make it work. If you're reskinning, first make it work, change colors and logos, then figure out how much you can customize without breaking it, and change the look/feel, but don't go randomly removing buttons and links or user dead-ends may result.. i.e. can't get there from here situations....
- specifically back-end. I can do the front-end slicing and CSS but would need someone to do the php functions and if/else statements, database queries etc....jysta
