    Jesus, moveinspace - that would be a nice thing to play with!

    Though I'm not sure I believe his opinion about the 'effective millions of rewrites' so would question using SSD for swap drives. I'd hate to fork out for 4 SSDs, then belatedly realise Photoshop rewrites to scratch with every pixel change! (though I'd doubt it would)

    As I understand it, one useful side effect of the parallel manner in which SSDs read memory blocks is that, the larger a drive you buy, the quicker it goes. The negative side of this, along with all computer components these days, is that there's no ceiling to spend. This shit costs a fortune :\
