  My dad works about 80hrs a week still, no salary (self-employed/freelance). It's caused a lot of grief I suppose to my mom, and used to bother me but not so much any more. I suppose the only two things I can think of that have kept his sanity are being able to swim a little each day and that I've accepted it. He used to seem pretty low about it (a little bitter, a little guilty) when I was younger (13 and below) and couldn't deal with only seeing him three or four times in the week, and only when he was coming in to get tea.
