    Are you a bit Irish, Don? An American friend of mine who lived here in Dublin with her bf once flew to London for a weekend. The nazis at the airport there detained her on grounds that she didn't have enough cash on her to live in Europe and sent her to the US.
    She fought back: In just a few months she got Irish citizenship after an ancestor and came back shitting in British (or any) officials' general direction.

    The ease of getting a passport based on ancestry varies from country to country here though.
