I like the Meier one at a glance, because it reminds me of the old WTC but it has added something that makes it stronger and more "aware". On the other hand, Liebeskind has done a great job with the Jewish museum and their proposals are always very well thought out. Tricky.
One idea I had was to make two black, windowless structures the same size as the twin towers but keep them as empty as possible inside. Imagine looking up in a "bottomless" space (it would be lit up). And imagine the cost!
