    Okay I have a question... right now I'm riding a Raleigh hybrid from the late 90s, all budget parts, 21-speed– parts are mine but my dad owns the frame. So since I'm all the way over here on the west coast, I'd love to have a bike and I might as well own it all. Out here, I could do with a single speed but back home I definitely need 15-speed since it's ALL hills.

    Would it be easy enough to build a single speed and change it later, with the same frame?
    Where could I get a good used frame around Los Angeles?
