    Flew back and forth from here (NY/CT) to Miami for a year while my wife worked there. Other than South Beach/Miami Beach area, the only acceptable place to live I felt was Coconut Grove. It gets hot as hell and it's the single worst traffic I have ever seen in my life. Get the maximum car insurance you can get. My wife was in 4 car accidents in under a year. There are scams galore where people hit you on purose and try and get you to pay.
    There are also pockets where the Cubans and Haitians really dislike white folk. I was refused service at a CVS and several other shops because i didn't speak Spanish. So watch the neighborhoods.
