    I'm finding season 2 a bit boring.

    *Warning... my comments are vague, but could be spoilers to some.

    Build-up is there, but payoff seems too far off. The whole Lafayette scenario could have been really cool. Seems like the writers chickened out of some true conflict, but we'll see the fall out.

    I did like seeing the more brutal vampire side when Eric when batshit crazy on that one guy.
