nice one biofeldt - but it's easy to forget all this a couple of years after art school. I try to rediscover it by constantly doing my own study and going to galleries and generally searching for creative satisfaction.
Otherwise the "industry" can brainwash you into thinking that commercially viable = valid. We get addicted to high production values. (I've found that especially with music.)
