what do I think?
i would say that the thought to become more like a child is admirable. picasso did do things in reverse, in a way but if you read his biography or have read any interviews or journals you know that it had definate purpose and intention when he was exploring. I fail to see a great deal of thought or intention in much of the work.. except for maybe the "outsider art brute" work that is very popular (enough so that a magazine chronicles it's monthly gallery showings.
So, my 2ยข is that it has it's merits... but if you do it beprepared to defend your POV.
Cheers!
