i work on a 1024 x 2.
2 pcs, that is.
i have a radeon now, but in the past i worked on dual monitors with a second monitor running on a cheapie 15 dollar video card.
it's not much and it blanks out once in a while, but it's good enough for keeping your palettes on while working the real deal in the primary monitor. the quality of the secondary monitor needn't be too good either.
