Jman, if you have any doubts, you can always call your printer and ask what ppi they will be printing at.
300 dpi (most printers refer to as ppi which is technically more correct than saying dpi - but we wont get into that. heheh) is pretty safe when working at 1:12 scale. but you might wanna check and see what the viewing distance is. this is important to know and can make a difference in what res you should use.
your printer will be able to tell you everything you need to know. (we hope haha.)
but with the details youve given, i would think that it would be fine. if you have any doubts, then bump it up some. you can always decrease your dpi. . . =)
