Sort of raises the question of why Obama admin would be floating this right now, after seeming to be dead set against the idea of an investigation earlier this year. I agree it's unlikely Holder or any AG for that matter is above politics and out there feeding stories to Newsweek completely on his own. You don't run with a story like that unless you've pretty much decided to follow through.
