I was just there on business for four days this week. Stayed at the Westin by the convention center. Spent all three nights walking around the North End eating myself silly on Italian food, gelato, and sweets.

Make sure to hit up the Shepard Fairey exhibit at the ICA. I twas great. At the ICA in the multimedia/film section, I watched this incredible B&W movie that showed 6 different blind people walking up to and interacting with an elephant in the middle of some empty public pool in Brooklyn or something. It was really quite amazing and captivating. I think the museum is worth going to for that video alone.

If you want a restaurant suggestion in the North End (pretty much all Italian food) go to Giacomos on Hanover Street. No reservations, you'll wait in line for at least an hour, but the food was excellent. Many locals consider it the best food in the North End.
