I'm actually pretty relieved that the new carsonified site is quite nice. A bit fussy, but way better than their old site and the millions of other sites that were inspired by it.
Carsonified have a worryingly firm grip and huge influence on the web design community, so at least they're "leading the way" (to some extent).
