Yeah - not tactical at all. It has to do with the youth vote going 70-30 Dem and the Latino vote going 70-30 Dem (not to mention blacks going 90-10 Dem, that one might be a lost cause). Latinos, Blacks and Asians will grow as a percentage of the population so that makes it harder and harder for Rs to win.
That why I wonder if the younger generation could start to swing conservative, because typically Republicans win on the strength of older white people, but that may not be possible anymore.
