pay it. straight away. it's not 1995 anymore. you'd be surprised how shit a simple thing like this can get for you. a friend of mine ignored a few parking tickets, went to the UK for 2 years and when he came back he was taken into custody at customs. i shit you not. the ticket went to debt collectors to a sheriffs department and after about 12 months or so became an arrest warrant of sorts. he didn't go to a cell or anything, they just gave him a court date and then sent him on his way. the ticket amount had about tripled by the time he was finished.
