I'm not a hater (well, sometimes...), I have nothing against fixies, what upset me is the whole trend.
If some of you read WAD -trend & fashion magazine- guess what? this month there's a fixie on every pages ; in denim adverts, in articles etc etc...I guess it's going the same way in other street fashion magazines.
All that made by people who don't care about bikes, 6month ago they've never heard or cared about those bikes. never put their ass in a bike since they are 15, because it wasn't cool anymore.
I'm sure that during the nest fashion event, I'll ear people speaking on their stand, near a fixie "yeah, it's a fixed gear bike, it's really better, you feel the road, It's like surfing the streets you know"- it's like triangles. I have nohing against this shape. but I see it in every poster now. meaningless.dyspl
