Repo man isn't funny, period.
It's not funny because it's very poorly scripted - what you see on screen are recreations of 'actual' events, played by actors as the public/repoees, and the parts of the repoers by themselves.
Bear in mind that all 'accounts' of real life events would have been relayed and transcribed by people that look, sound and act like the dim-witted over developed teenager that is Matt. My god what a scourge on this planet he is with his 'hold on, I'm not fully in control of my massive body and steroidal temper' approach to life. All he is and has is this idea that he is big, yet the world conspires to put him in situations where he just can't keep control of affairs and even though he tries and tries, it just ends up where he has 'no choice' but to end up grappling with someone slightly smaller than himself. Come on, guy - you honestly honestly think we can't spot your strategy for trying to sneakily exercise some control over your life and other people by spinning the already artificial drama round to you getting physical with someone ? You're a fuckwad, a total ass-hat of a guy who would be dangerous if he had half a clue how smart most of us are that see through your petty 'bouncer-talk' bullshit.
