Wasn't sure how to read the tea leaves in the whole Honduras mess, although I was guessing it was more of a oligarch coup than anything to do with democracy-at-work, they're new "coup congress" just issued some new "emergency" laws which stripped Hondurans of the following rights from the country's constitution:
1. The right to protest.
2. Freedom in one's home from unwarranted search, seizure and arrest.
3. Freedom of association.
4. Guarantees of rights of due process while under arrest.
5. Freedom of transit in the country.Uh huh. Have the military take out the poor peoples populist president and install your own guys. Oligarch Coup 101. Not saying the guy disposed was all peaches and honey, but this is not democracy in action folks.
