question: Were you astonished that they were living on benefits that amounted to 37K?
Emma : I was just amazed would be an under statement. I couldn't believe what I was reading so I had to read it over and over again. Then I realised that this must be equivalent to a £55,000 a year job because we have to pay tax and national insurance to get that kind of money.
