also back in college. veruca salt came to play at a local bar a few years after they were out of the limelight. i bought two tickets and asked a good friend of mine to go along with me to the show. he agrees and shows up with no fucking money. so i end up having to not only pay for his ticket, but i also bought him beers the whole night. at the end of the show i was standing at the back entrance by the bar with my buddy and the ladies from the bad walked past going out the back door. my friend and i struck up a conversation with them and really hit it off. they asked us if we'd like to come along and party with them at their hotel and we said sure but we didn't have a car. they're like "well, we only have room for one more person in our mini bus so figure it out" and she walked away. so i figure cause i bought the ticket and paid for his drinks he'd let me go. nope. he's like "dude rock scissors paper" and like a moron i said "sure". i lost. who throws fucking scissors first. rock man ROCK goes first. my paper should have fucking won. without hesitation he runs off without even saying bye and jumps in their bus.
man i had some asshole friends.
