Sorry no, I didn't go, nor have I ever.
Honestly it doesn't look like it appeals to me - the idea does, and certainly the sense of autonomy and a different set of rules looks fun, but the stories about the toilets, and knowing that there will, amongst all the people be hoards of crusty traveller type theives, blaggers and dodgy dealers entirely puts me off. In fact, during Glastonbury I am pleased that 95% of people with dogs on string and colored wool in their hair are all in one place. That way I know they're not out trying to hold a brown-rice based boycott of my local powerstation, or trying to sell my mum a crumpled bag of 'like, serisously fresh e's' from their unroadworthy and untaxed van.
Sorry if it sounds jaded, stupid, snobbish or even naive, but I honestly can't stand to be around those sort of people and will forego any event at which I suspect they will attend. Luckily the door price and some well-trained security can keep them out of clubs, so for the large part thats where I choose to participate in music culture, underground and otherwise.

    • hahahaha.. I would say you're getting old but I had similar opinion even when I was 17raf
    • Since they put up that huge fence, a lot of what you are describing hasn't applied so much - so you might actually like it
