    I don't know enough about Honduras to form an educated opinion. Obviously the guy was going for some kind of popularist power grab, but the forces behind the army seem equally shady. I've read some of the rhetoric supporting the coup and I've seem some standard phrases dropped like "Zelaya stabbed the Honduran people in the back..." and the "silent majority of Honduras offers you our support and personal testimonies". Hmmm. Boilerplate right wing, wealthy elite media language anywhere you see it...but the situation looks quite complex.
