Thanks everyone for their feedback. I've thought about it a lot today, and I might just go home and do a few mock-ups. I love minimal designs, but if it's too hard for clients to figure out, then I might have to look in a slightly different direction.
I'll keep you updated on my progress; I hope to make major lee-way on this project tonight.
