vs
24% of blacks are below the poverty line
I mean, damn, 1 in 4. By the way, "below the poverty line" in general means you make < 10k/ year. That works out in hourly pay to the equivalent of $5/ hour. Now obviously that's below minimum wage, but there's a degree of unemployment factored in.
Now think about the guy with the "Support black businesses" bumper sticker and ask yourself how bad is that really.
