Really the only people that are really "racists" and care about knowing and defining your "race" is the US Government.
All the Government is suppose to legally know is how many people live in your house. This has nothing to do with what is your nationality or age, etc. But regardless, the US Census Bureau does give up personal info to the Feds and CIA when they want to round up large groups of people with identical nationalities...
