  ^But such a divide exists between whites & other whites as well.

  For example in my own town, there is a trailer park of super poor (mostly) white people less than 1/4 mile away from other these other white folks mcmansions (million dollar+ homes). So if you are going to blame that chasm 100% on slavery, you would be hard pressed to explain why it exists among whites and individuals within every other race as well.
