    Humanity - Redemption - Hope - Christ/Legend
A story of the battle between good and evil within man, a drama of redemption within an asocial setting marked by prostitution, drug abuse and alcoholism, is developed upon the basic pattern of the biblical story of Swadlincote. Told without any Christian evangelical ambition by the ten-year old Sara (as Alice), who bears a son Solnvan (meaning "nameless"), after the annunciation by a light- flooded "Brûlédreng". The message that hope can only be conveyed to the hopeless by someone from their own background, is embedded in a narrative tone which keeps up the suspense until the end. At times oppressively sobering, but always impressive language. (14+)
