i got my powerbook on ebay. scary. nearly lost a lot of cash to a guy trying to con people. he had took over someone elses account.
anyway, the one i did but after i sussed it out is the best thing ive ever bought... and saved myself a WHOPPING amount of cash.
but as far as the emac goes AND if youve never bought from ebay before.. id say stick to the shops, company websites or mail order from the magazines.
that way your still getting a cheap computer, but it new and its got a guarantee AND somewhere to send it back to if it does go wrong!
